Problems with Shopping Cart?

Orders are handled by the shopping cart system run by "Mal's E-commerce" on a secure server.

1. Make sure that the eBook(s) listed are what you want to download.

2. Type your complete details and check them carefully, since any error or omission will mean that you won't receive the download details by email but you WILL pay via Paypal if you continue.

3. Tick the first box to confirm that your details are correct and DO NOT use an AOL address or one that requires human confirmation (such as Spamalert) because the server is not human and will not comply.

4. Tick the second box if you want YOUR own computer to store a "cookie" that will cause the shopping cart server to fill in your details automatically, next time.

5. Check all details again and click (Continue).

IF you omit any part of your FULL name, Address, phone number or email address, OR use an AOL email address, the order will complete but you will NOT receive download details for your eBook(s). Please read our Terms.

6. Check details again and click (Continue) if they are correct. If they are incorrect, please begin the order process again.

Make a note of your order number that is listed under "Descriptions". You'll need this in the event of any enquiry.

8. Make certain that the item(s) listed are what you want to download.

9. Complete your Paypal account email address and password OR create a PayPal account. (Recommend you use a throwaway email address to do this if you are paranoid!)

10. Click [Log in] and complete the Paypal payment process.

11. You should receive three emails within the next few minutes.

a. Order confirmation email from Mal's E-commerce
b. Payment confirmation email from Paypal
c. Order completion "Keep-me" email from The Cool Book Shop, with the download link and password.

Note: some free email systems (e.g. gmail) are known to delay delivery of messages by several hours for accounts that are not used frequently.

ERROR MESSAGES

If NO eBook gets added to the shopping cart at step 1. then it could be a coding error on the Cool Book Shop site for that particular eBook. Try a different eBook to see if that gets to stage 1. If it doesn't then the problem lies with your computer and we can't help. (Make sure that your browser accepts "cookies".) Please use a different computer on a different network if you can't solve your computer problem.

If you see an error message when you click (Continue) then the fault probably lies with your computer and we can't help. Please use a different computer on a different network if you can't solve your computer problem.

If you have a problem at the Paypal payment stage (i.e. payment can't be made), we can't help. Please contact Paypal.

If you receive all three emails but the "Keep-me" email does not include the download link, you have made a mistake or omitted information or used an AOL address. You can contact us for a refund but please allow time because this has to be done manually and we may be on holiday. Please allow at least 3 working days. Please DO NOT contact Paypal at this stage.

If you have received the Paypal payment confirmation email but no others (or only one), please feel free to contact us and we'll try to help. Be sure to provide a different email address in case the first is delaying or trashing our emails. (Gmail might be "woken up" by sending several messages to your email address from other email accounts.)
